for the record! the song is literally TAKE 1. antwaun is that good! he showed up on set and was out within an hour. CRAZY. then afterwards we added a few background vocals because the chorus felt like it needed a lift.

​@@Plato222 He certainly has, the last gig I went to before lockdown was Mr Cory Wong's 351 days ago. If ever there was a concert to hold that title i'm SO glad it's his. 3 weeks later we went into national lockdown, and nearly a whole year on he's still got me vibin through this nightmare.

Friendly reminder - these kind of "show series" are generally recorded over a relatively short time, like a few days/weeks, and then released over a longer time span, like once every few weeks or whatever. Not saying Cory isn't/wasn't killing it with the top notch content. Just giving some perspective, for those who don't quite understand the production process.

I waited here for a full hour only to realize that the episode airs a day from now. And it was still worth it.

"you're just a stupid machine that repeats other people's guitar parts" -- dam i felt that. The production level on these videos is INSANE. loving it!

Everyone's outfits are in correlation with the set. That's why it's so easy on the eyes and even nicer for the ears holy crap. I love everything about this series

Also, I love how the interviews are such "non-interviews", the whole show has a very, very slight Eric Andre feel to it. And I'm 100% here for it

It is quite different to Eric Andre though. It has actually got a point. Eric is just surreal. I think it has to do with the lack of an audience as well as hearing the cooling system in the interviews.

This is a shining example of why media gate keepers don't matter anymore. Self produced, hilarious, full of great work from everyone involved. 1000x better than late night variety shows from major networks. Congrats on making this! Keep up the fantastic work.

One of the best things I heard about gear was to think of it like how a professional chef has his own really expensive knives. Ultimately the type of knives don't matter at all to the person eating the food, but they matter to the chef. I think it's the same with musicians/technicians and gear. Gear is important bc of the relationship we have with gear- the process and interaction of making things rather than the end result. That said- yeah, don't neglect the gift. :)
