Love this guitar. I've been looking to upgrade my Squier Tele, and this is the guitar. I love everything about it. The pickups, the colour, the neck, etc. I also like that it's made in Canada. Great and thorough review. Thanks for helping me make the decision.

Just bought the LTD version with beautiful mahogany top. Had the P rail in it. Super versatile pickup that I also have in an Icon type 2 from Godin :D Cheers. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks for the review.

I'm very late, but just a small point: the third position is the whole humbucker in parallel with the bridge pickup, not in series between the bridge and one of the single coils in the humbucker. The 4th position is, like you mentioned, in series. My favorite position for cleans on this guitar is the 3rd actually, nice Tele-like sound but a bit beefier. Preferring the bridge and the 4th position when using a good amount of gain.

You do feel the fingerboard of course. The only reason I prefer maple, which usually has a glossier finish.

tele music? well even some jazz guitarists have played teles ...but I get the point (the typical use)
