Thanks for the video. I used it to order a $15 sensor and replace the one that had "gone bad", meaning the plastic connection between the sensor and the wiring harness had burned up. That sure beats the $1000 that the repair man wanted to replace the computer, which turns out to not even be the problem.

where you order the sensor for $15?
Awesome, fixed it in seconds (apart from those pesky connectors) thank you

+lefty1999 Good work!
I have a GE oven with a F4 code showing up. Would replacing this sensor fix that?
Mine won't come off what size bit did you use it will not budge
Pulling the range out and removing the back cover is best way to install the sensor because the plastic connection for the sensor was resting on top of the electrical connection for the broiler calrod. This could have caused a serious problem later on.

When I pulled mine out, I found out it was impaled on the broiler connection and both were burned at that spot. It must have been like that since it was first manufactured.
Quick qs. I have a GE JBS30DKWW electeic stove. Its the worst thing I ever had. Whenever you are cooking something, it automatically shuts off and on. Is there any sensor in it I could take out to get rid of this problem? Even boiling an egg is a nightmare. Please help!
I replaced both the upper lower elements in our GE Spectra oven after testing with an ohm meter I found the old broiler element was OK but installed the new one anyway the lower element works and the broiler element does not. The model number is JBP30W082WW how can get it to show the codes ?
Great video. We replaced the sensor in February and it has started beeping and flashing the F3 code again. Any idea what else it might be?
Mine doesn't have one there. Where else could it be?
Great video. Replaced thermostat but now its taking 15 minutes to get to 450". Any suggestions ?
My GE oven is auto turn off after 30 sec. Either bake or broil. Does this have to do with sensor? (Model#JKP14WOT1WW, SN#sl648172Q). Any help would be appreciate.
MY GE electric range/oven's model no. is : J SP42B0K1BB. What's the oven sensor replcement #? Also, it slides into the counter and so hard to pull unit out to unplug. But there is a switch in the main circuit breaker for it that i can turn off, will this be sufficient? Thank you.
Uhm, what exactly is the tool at 0:30? I am legitimately confused as to what that is.

It's literally a screwdriver but it has a hex head. Sort of like a screwdriver with changeable heads.
Will this be the cause of a F2 code
My GE oven is built-in so not so easy to unplug. Just to pull out the temp-sensor and unclip it .... is there ANY shock danger at all? I would not think so but seems prudent to ask.
