Complex repair 👍🏻

I deal with the same model washers and dryer but not the stacked version. They're pretty easy to work on but my forearms are a little big and getting the belt hooked back on the motor and pulley is a challenge. I'm getting a little faster at it though since I started removing the 1/4" screw that holds the bottom left side panel in place giving me just a little more room to get my forearm over and around the blower to reach behind.

The drum can sometimes hit the idler and move it slightly and it not make contact with safety switch. Just be careful when placing drum back in.

get the model number of the motor and hunt for the motor online or appliance places near you.

Usually when that happens to me in my property I can get one more year or even 2 just holding the door switch and turning the drum counterclockwise…that makes the motor run again and most of the time I leave it running for 10 min and then when its stops, i push the start button and it comes back to work again normally… if this does not work I do replace the motor 🙏🏻
