I agree and Trinidad and Tobago have such a rich heritage with indigenous french ,spanish ,english , asian and east indian influences it sad french paotis is not spoken much anymore it sounds so much like haiti paotis

Real talk, anybody can chime in if you agree, kompa is such a dope rhythm to dance to but I used to hate it as a kid because it would be 2mins of lyrics and 15mins of instrumental 😩 when ya moms would force you to dance the whole shxt but the way these soca artists are making the right sized songs is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 especially when this first dropped
