No! No! No! Is this week over already? Oh no, I’m going to miss you so mutch that I maby pop in next week. You see - I only listen to Dan. And before you say something - that’s a huge step for me when I never listen to music. Well I can just see your videos again and again, your videos of your reaction to Dan. You are such a sweet guy. Thanks for sharing a great week of Dan songs with us. Although I've listened to most of his videos numerous times. it is great to watch along with someone seeing/hearing them for the first time.

Great week. Thanks so much for spotlighting Dan's songs. He does make the day brighter. Whenever you come back around to doing his songs, maybe try Adeste Fideles, Number of the Beast, &/or Dawn of Victory (w/Dan's band Fearless & Fabio Lione). As for Voice Play, they're amazing, too. I sub to them & to their bass singer (Geoff Castellucci). Voice Play's version of "Hoist the Colors" introduced me to them way before I found Dan Vasc. Looking forward to seeing what songs you spotlight of their's. Have a lovely weekend.

I agree about both Voiceplay and Home Free. I'll be here for either one. There are a few VP songs I won't watch, but it's not because of their music. It's just the few songs that they do that I won't listen to because of the words and/or what they are about.

I feel you about over played music on the radio. For me, it was Journey and all the groups that had a similar sound (Kansas, REO Speedwagon, etc...) It took me about 30 years to be able to listen to those groups without cringing. It's not bad music, it was simply over played in my area.

I used to listen to the radio all the time, because I was raised in Valdez, Alaska from 1951(when I was two) until 1978 (well...by then, I was already raised, and had four kids of my own--the youngest was two that year). There weren't a whole lot of stations near enough to hear a LOT of different things, because of being hemmed in by the towering mountains all around us. However, I could usually get one of the Anchorage stations, plus we could ALMOST always get great radio signals from one direction, which meant that we could get anything from anywhere around Russia, and even as far away as Italy, and sometimes even from Great Britain (depending on weather and the time of year, etc. So I got to hear a LARGE variety of music, from all of those different places. One great thing, was that I got to hear the Beatles, before just about anyone else in Alaska, because of that wonderful Transatlantic radio with it's HUGE dry cell, that I could listen to even when our generator wasn't running! Hooray! We lived two miles outside of Old Valdez, out on the Richardson Highway. I was born into a hugely musical family, and I've been singing since I was about two, to my mom's violin, piano, accordion, ukelele, or whatever else she might pick up and decide to learn to play, and to the music of all of the small group bands that she and the other musicians in Old Valdez were in--depending on the occasions. For me, there was no over-playing of music from anywhere. I took all that I could get...still do. It's all I ever wanted, was just...MUSIC, PLEASE! I have my favorite styles, of course, but those run a pretty large gamut.
