the acting may be questionable, the writing a bit loose and the translations need fixing but big respect to anyone trying to make their way in the film industry.

My initial thought was that this movie was senseless but this conclusion was quickly replaced by reality. The reality is that many young girls are still dating married men, and 70% of financially comfortable Yoruba men still keep extramarital affairs. I know three different unconnected stories similar to the treatment Fathia received. These events are not good, but thist is the stupid reality at the moment. This movie represents current reality.

Kemi's mum advice to her before she traveled to Abuja was not what is expected of a mother; She cautioned her affair with a married man and that's not right. Chief's wife might pushed a bit far but the girl deserved to be taught a lesson just like the other 2 friends...If u play with fire expect to get burned

I'll agree with most views on here, that is really not much morals to pick up or emulate from the storyline. It's a classic case of cultural differences; which is probably why it's very cool for older Nigerian males to have younger mistresses or multiple sexual partners and not acceptable for the female to choose their lifestyle, which is usually tagged or frown upon as been promiscuous. In addition, lots of other pondering questions come to mind on areas of Police conducts, oppression and so on

Abioooo!.....Well said. Most especially in these modern times where a woman,s figure is no longer determined by the number of kids,s she,s had ( when care is taken with food, and by doing regular sports). And i dont buy this idea that " a real african woman must be on the heavy side".......because sooner or later, and thanks to the passage of time that volumptousness becomes more of a nuisance than a blessing.

I dont see the moral in this movie. Kemi backslided from being a bornagain, she disappointed her man she went out with chief and lateron hooked up wit another....chiefs wife had to come back to beg chief and chief was felt cool about having a mistress. No lessons learnt. Im sorry.

seems in Nigerian films the Yoruba movies especially, it's very okay for men to cheat on their wives and at the end the women will be the ones begging for forgiveness...like my wayward uncle will say that's one of the benefit of marrying a nigerian woman!! wura at fadakemi cheating husband too ooo lol nice cast especially that church member

  • @DeremyUK

Are the Nigerian Police solely created to intimidate the innocent Citizens of it's country? Why couldn't they simply investigate Kemi's story by contacting the NYSC Board to establish if she is indeed a Serving Youth Corper or otherwise? Why couldn't they offer to help her contact her family or friends in Lagos? And if she is indeed education to a degree level she should at least not be oblivion of what her civil rights are under the Nigerian Law. I can go on and on however I'll have to add.....

*facepalm* im going to need these moves to do better as far as the police goes. she's in youth service, wouldn't it be easier to just call where she serves and confirm? How are you gonna pick someone up and take them into custody to interrogate them? i tottaly understood what the chief's wife did, but her ass would've been charged with kidnap.

Ok fine, Kemi was assume to be a thief, what precisely did they find with her to make her a thief?. Did what chief wife did make chief stop cheating on her?. This would have been a good meaningful moving to teach our youngster to have contentment but how about all these older men that knows better but will not leave this young ladies alone?
