It does kind of suck knowing you are waiting on a certain result.

For those who obviously don't actually follow the 7s the comeback refers to where they were in the table to where they ended up qualifying in the Top 8.

They were outside the top 8 and facing having to qualify, however their performance in this tournament has put them into 8th in the table and the US needing to qualify.

Commentators should shut their mouth when the referee is speaking.

This ref missed two holding ons, a deliberate knock on and interference with a jumper.

I never understood why in the 15s you have England, Wales and Scotland but in 7s you get GB?

Usually it’s separate nations but this will be the potential Olympic team getting a run out 🤔

You normally do in the 7s as well. However this is Olympic year and so it makes sense to have a GB team who have played together all year rather than a scratch team put together at the last minute from England, Scotland & Wales. It means we'll be more competitive for the Olympics and have a better chance of winning a medal. it will go back to three teams in other years and for the Commonwealth games.

Kudos to GB, but don't take too much credit. The Aussies were woeful. The game would have been more competitive if the Brits played with 1 red and another yellow card.
