Great video nice looking lake pal and good to see u only using 2 rods i think we are guilty of using 3 rods a lot of the time simply because the rules allow it when infact a third line can be a negative factor well done on banking 3 lovely pristine fish cheers bud tighlines

Sometimes it’s just a common sense approach for the number of rods to use. There was no way 3 could have been used in that situation and probably would have resulted in lost fish and tangles! Thanks for watching as always mate - appreciate the comments and feedback 👍🏼

Stunning venue isn't it? Only thing is when I went (it was a few years ago) there was a list of rules as long as your arm including no braid at all, dunno if thats changed? I have never seen carp with fins as big as they've got, ever likely fight hard 🙂

It was great I enjoyed this session. I haven’t seen back since so I’m overdue a return. I think they have a problem with being going “camping” and getting a bit too jolly on the beers from what I’ve heard

3fish on a new venue is a result in my book, would I be right in saying that it's a shallow lake going by the fish shape,long and lean 👍🎣

Hi Brian - yes the lake is mainly 4-5ft deep which explains the characteristics of some of the carp. I was well chuffed mate 👍🏼 thanks for tuning in as always pal 🐳

Fish the canal were the broken bridge Is there are 6lb bream

Thanks for watching Nigel. You have to buy a night permit which is £10 for the year. Then you pay to fish a night/day as you choose 👍🏼

I was on the “specimen” water - can’t remember the name of it. Think it might be called Wood Pool? The one with the bigger carp and cats in it 👍🏼🎣

Hi Dan - yes you can just turn up mate. If you want to night fish you have to buy a night permit for £10 which lasts for the year. General rules apply - nothing too specific 👍🏼

@@Danfrodo1 lots of my mates fish there so don’t be afraid to ask the locals for tips. Fish tight to the island locked up. Don’t use pellets or the bream will hammer you

If there are any 20lb fish in there pal I’ll eat my rods

It’s a shame but it’s gone to the dogs now John has passed away. If it did have some good fish put n there it would be a nice place it needs a 30lb in there and not so many dickheads
