@@KahlevN indeed, while we shouldn't compare anyone i think marine and ina especially are way different fields of art (ina was a professional illustrator, marine a professional mangaka) and those require very different skillsets! they are both very skilled in their own areas of expertise :D

I love Ina too, but saying Far Exceeds is beyond exaggeration when Iofi and Marine exist, and a few hidden talents as well (I can't find the video, but Matsuri and Fubuki are also really talented artists if you can find a really old drawing stream of theirs).

@@Endershock1678 Calli is another kinda hidden one, and her side job was as a graphic artist, and she’s got pretty solid drawing chops as well. There are lots of talented artists in Hololive.

@@KahlevN Nope man. Yes, Marine and Iofi are indeed good. But not at Ina’s level, they both draw as a hobby, but Ina draws professionally. She is an illustrator. If you actually watch her and see her art, the illustrations are far exceed that of Marine and Iofi.

Her angelic voice and this angelic song, it is perfect beyond perfection.

Is it weird that, when listening to her sing this one, that I started to cry?

I wouldn't call Kenshi Yonezu obscure by any means, even by American standards. He wrote Peace Sign, Uchiage Hanabi, Orion, and even wrote the famous Miku song Sand Planet. His channel has nearly 6 million subs, which is insane by Japanese standards (for reference, AKB48 has 2.5 million and Mr. Children has 1.2 million) and Lemon meanwhile 672 million views, making the most viewed Japanese song on all of KZread and has been sung by Okayu, Mio, Ayame, Aqua, Korone, Risu, Flare, Watame, Miko, Kanata, Pekora, Haachama, and Shion.

@@Endershock1678 I have worked many years for a magazine that's dedicated to J-culture and pretty much my entire social circle is all Asian oriented and of said circle ONE other friend knew of Kenshi before me, by my books when it's people's jobs to know artists big and small and none of them know of someone they're obscure enough. Especially if you add onto that major games filled with asian oriented music only having two songs of Kenshi it's a sign that someone isn't well known despite domestic statistics of popularity.

​@@YingwuUsagiri Really, it's the opposite for my group (also all Asian, I'm Viet, two were Chinese, two were Japanese, one was Thai, two were Korean), you couldn't meet someone who didn't know him, especially since I nerd out over JP music heavily and study it alot (as you can see by my willingless to pull up the statistics for Japanese music and most of my playlist being Japanese artists) and two of them study it in hopes of finding inspiration for their own music. Games aren't really where most people go to find Japanese artists, that's usually where you look for composers. Yonezu's works had been featured in three anime, and the TV series Unnatural. I think the "obscurity" you're seeing is mostly from him being more "up and coming" and his breakouts being fairly new, having nowhere near the history that big artists like Utada Hikaru and Bz have (he started in 2012, and didn't start really blowing up until BOOTLEG in 2017 and recently Stray Sheep), but come on. His album, Stray Sheep, was THE MOST SOLD JAPANESE ALBUM during 2020, destroying charts at a whopping 1.6 million sales in Japan, crushing every other contender by far, with the second being ARASHI (who had only about 900k). Excuse my skepticism, and it's fine to ignore me, but I'm gonna trust the likes of Billboard Japan and Japan's Golden Disk (not to say I generally trust any sort of award show, but they at least tell you what people know about, if not like). Calling him obscure, ESPECIALLY in the V-Tuber community, is definitely a stretch to say the least. At the very least, why would you expect Gura to sing any of the other Lemon's instead of the one that 13 of her co-workers sang? Also, what magazine do you work on? I'm very interested in learning more about JP Pop culture (I've been studying Japanese culture seriously for the better part of the last 6 years) and I'm always interested in learning about specific trends in the industry, especially the music industry which I have a lot of interest in.
