For those who are simpletons lile me, all you have to do is use your 4, then use your 2. Use your 1 and melee to keep the bar above the bright red line until it says 100%, then enjoy godmode.

Also add energized munitions instead of thermal sunder and then use an AoE weapon and enjoy :)

I do this with red crit shards and tennokai and it rolls everything from sp to archons 🙏

Also worth mentioning that the order you cast sunder matters. If you cast Cold then Heat it repells enemies, doing the reverse pulls them

So i started like two and half weeks ago and I'm at MR6. Now I already got a grasp on how everything works, tho I'm not far in the starchart (Sedna I think it was, where i'm at) because i'm getting distracted with relics and primes etc. I'm actually building gauss prime right now (gotta wait 3 more days) and didn't know how to play him cause I'm just excited to have my first prime item that I can actually play. hope the whiplash of going straight to 1.5 sprint speed didnt hurt too much, sure did for me

one of the warframes i used the most was gauss. gauss, umbra, and gara prime and garuda prime are my mains, now i gotta work on getting gauss prime

firewalker gauss instead of thermal sunder is really fun for speed and the trail is funny seeing fire everywhere, defs a meme build but still totally sp viable because of kenitic plating. (The duration of firewalker perfectly matches redline and kenitic plating as well, so its super satisfying :D)

Nova said in his video (after explaining the PAssiv) that the shield recharge time is now capped. (after the abyss of dagath update) so i think fast deflection might not work on him, since he already has 80% wich is the cap now

My absolutely favorite build for gauss is something similar to speed volt, just going for pure speed and duration, with a little bit of strength and using the helminth speed buff (infested mobility) or fire walker from nezha, all you have to worry about is running around and melee everything you see

What about running Wrathful Advance? Kinetic Plating boosts your melee base damage by 100%, Redline gives attack speed, and Thermal Sunder armor strips and pulls enemies to you. With the new "hold to melee," you can just meat grinder the enemies.

I'm slightly late but I also love this build a lot more then the build for t Thermal sunder i love being able to Focus on gunplay more than constantly putting thermal sunder

Once youre in SP, i find that energy is never a problem, since his 2 generates energy when you take damage.

Unless that damage is something other than ips, heat, cold, or blast damage. But yeah, it's basically never a problem.

Thermal Sunder isn't scaling for me, and idk why. I use it repeatedly, and the numbers stay the same. They even go DOWN sometimes. ALSO, when i use the cold multiple times, its not freezing the enemies

If you struggle with energy with gauss just put archon flow and use cold in thermal sunder

Not quite. Thermal sunder only charges your battery and not energy. You still need energy to fire off 1,2 and 4.

This war frame is the WHOLE REASON began to play this game every game I play if there’s a super speed option I take it I NEED HIM

The best gauss mix between duration and nuking Brief respite i just use it cus this is a spamable thermal sunder build and if i were hit by electricity i can just spam it over and over till its over, cunning drift,primed continuity,streamline,equilibrium,umbrul intensify,overextended,primed flow,fleeting expertise rank 3 since you only need 170 efficiency,and stretch Arcanes: molt augmented and efficiency 4 red shards duration and one yellow casting speed You can switch out umbral intensify for any other mod if you have molt augmented maxed rank i use intensify cus i only need to get 60 kills to get 100% strength back instead of 200 this build took me to level 1k on zariman youll only have 65 seconds of his redline and kinetic plating but the lower the duration the quicker you reach 100% and the quicker you reach invincibility and full potential thermal sunder

Because duration is far more important, all of the buffs from his redline scale with duration.

@@copycopy2343 Well Redline buffs your fire rate and reload speed, therefore increasing your damage per second. As for thermal sunder; the amount of armor it strips is based on battery level and not ability strength. Besides, heat thermal sunder already scales infinitely thanks to its unique self stacking mechanic, and the cold-on-heat nuke is also buffed by duration. It doesn't really need all that much ability strength to do good damage.

only lazy players don't like this frame :)) if you like to be active, always on the move this frame is perfect .. if you are lazy then play Volt with Terify :)) a problem that many don't understand, is the difference between BATTERY LEVEL and BATTERY CHARGER, if you have a FULL BATTERY UP TO TOP you can give a full armor strip with even 2% BATTERY CHARGE, that percentage when it reaches 100% the BATTERY LEVEL will not decrease no matter if stay on place and us thermal heat until the REDLINE expires

Just take off thermal sunder..... no gauss player actually uses this ability for daily regular or Steel path missions.
