I'm so glad I can do it on console took a pretty long time in training and I still don't get it consistently

for those of you who tried for hours and couldn't get it right, I hope this will help: you have to chase dodge before the down light ends, then you jump then press the attack button. if you're doing the input right but you keep doing nlight, it's because you're jumping too late, and if you're doing the input and and only the jump and the nair are coming out, you're jumping too fast. keep practicing it, don't worry if your computer or the keyboard/controller are bad because if you can do any other combo you can do this one regardless of the keyboard/controller you're using.

thank you, your comment helped me alot. I'd like to add for tthose still struggling: all the inputs must be done while the enemy is still in the air from the first Dlight. you have to be very fast, else it will do a chase dodge into a neutral light

I can do it like 40% of the time but not sure how to get it consistently, I also can't get it on white health but in yellow. / Orange it works ok for me. How do you chase dodge before the Dlight ends? surely that's not possible as you only get a chase dodge after hitting an opponent

I did that combo once I never wanted to practice the dlight nair combos on ground tho I thought I was never gonna pull the combo even tho I never tried it but last month took me 5 tries to do it and success and I started to do it with reverse nair

For any controller players out there what worked for me was basically you do dlight, and then chase dodge, let go of the dodge button and directional button and then immediately jump and nair.

sorry boss but the 3 hit true combo was nerfed a while back before this vid came out, rn you can only get dlight nair true, there’s no more true follow ups after that like dair or recovery but there’s a new patch coming out soon so cross your fingers

Thanks for the vid but this frustrates me soooo much how basically any guide including grounded dlight>nair>autocombo is considered "Advanced" when there are so many cool combos you can do or just strings that go into the dlight>nair which are very underappreciated

After chase dodging I immediately input the jump for the buffered Nair version but nothing happens. Any tips? Nvm, I figured it out. Just had to click the buttons faster.

Learn the buffered before because if you got one down it's even harded to get used to the other one!!!

Whenever I try and do the buffer chase Dodge version I can't get to do it but when I do the jump chases Dodge version I can do it consistently on 150 HP
