That's exactly what I'm saying, I don't know why I waited for so long! I guess I was thought the job was way more involved than what it actually was.

Did that kit for my low rider months ago, best upgrade to do imo. If you haven't already fix it, yes you over tightened. Just unscrew, put blue lock tight, and tighten slowing back and forth between screws.

It is always good to engage in things outside of your comfort zone and challenging yourself, growth. I use to do all of my own wrenching because I enjoyed it but now I just pay to have it done and I enjoy that. Keep up the good work my NY brother.

FXDLS Brooklyn It’s a 1991 and I love it, rides great, real smooth. It was a total barn find, low mileage. I put a new seat and just did new bushings, bars and risors and is beyond comfortable.

Got the same kit coming in a day or two, pretty awesome people, they were very nice and hooked me up with the dynojet powervision blockoff plate for my 2016 FXDLS for the same price instead of charging me an extra $50. They just said merry Christmas!

@@FXDLSBrooklyn so far I still haven't received the items from kns.. They told me they shipped it the 20th, but never provided tracking, and just said I'll get tracking from usps after customs releases it. But it's been 2 weeks, and nothing. Kns just keeps saying it's fine, it'll get to you. But seems sketchy, pretty sure you get tracking when shipped... Not sure what else to do at this point

Little late to this party but curious.. what year is your bike? I see it has separate gauges.. I want to do a dual gauge set up on my ‘14 dyna.. but it has an electric RPM readout in the little screen integrated into the speedo.. any idea if I could do the dual (speedo & tach)?

How’d u fix the mushed gaskets ? Did the same . Thought the part of the gasket was supposed to slide into the cups but it doesn’t fit . Bunched up on the cup same way

Make sure the 'tabs' on the rubber seal/gasket are lined up with the corresponding spaces inside the speedo.

Did you just use the stock speedo and Techo and just get a housing for it to go on the bars? I have a 1992 FXDC and cant find gauges to save my life and if i do they are $500. Thanks!

What’s the gauge relocation kit called?

Its usually the things that some people take for granted, like removing the plastics from a sport bike, that drive me mad. The actual "wrenching" time usually goes pretty well but give some hidden snap or post that is fragile to a heavy hand and I'm toast. lol You did a good job! Wanna put on my KLR's new & improved doohickey? lol (Look that one up when you have time to kill.)

I have Good 2002 affects the 88 cu in, stage 1 kit. I am original owner, I ordered with the dual tack and speedometer control set up from a sportster on it. I'm lookin to Maybe sell the bike mukuni carb, vance and Hines pipes stage 1 kit periods always maintained 27000 miles.

I plan on doing this to my 2020 FXLRS. Probably gonna go with the FXR Division mount. I foresee a lot of cussing and throwing of tools.

Put 12" apes on my bagger. I feel your pain seeing exposed wire. Not for anyone with OCD doing it yourself. I end up doing it at least 3 times. P.S. Jenny reminds me of my girl Miyuki; silent but way smarter than me:))
