    I love the changing formations / patterns at the beginning. Just like in the weaving & sewing. Beautiful everything.

    No, the couple in the different costume is not from a different class. It's a wedding dance and they are the newlyweds.

    i love this! may i ask if the couple dress in a different costume someone from different class? was wondering if who do the represent in the society? Another qn. i have been looking for this folk dance on youtube.. it is where the dancer were holding each other legs n hop ard. wad is called if anyone could recommend the link it will be great! thanks

    No, there is no class system in traditional latvian society. This is wedding (traditionally in latvian as and meaning alignment of two) dance. Couples in this case represent brides and fiances, others represent wedding guests.

    Although it looks nice, I doubt it is Latvia's genuine folklore dance
