I'd like to see a pitch count for the the battles that were good, but not video worthy. To see the difference from the start and end of the at bat.

You gotta say, when Rudy is there, the Predators have much more energy.

You should expand a couple more teams because in a couple years with the draft there will be way to many people you could make a 4man roster this offseason and the extra players could play on a new team or something

Second this. Could be time to revive some defunct teams like the Central Cardinals, Atlantic Astros, or Southern Seahawks. 4-man (No DH) or 5-man (With DH) rosters, playoff format would need a shake up but expansion is definitely in the future I'd think.

@@mcmariner44 playoff format wouldn't need a change. 6 teams making the playoffs in an 8-team league is too many, but in a 10 team league it would be fine.

Wardas base running is an absolute treasure to the league. Hope he never loses that wild edge he has that you don’t really see from any other players in the league. Gotta appreciate the preds and what they’ve built the last 4 years with this squad.

I was thinking y'all could show more deep foul balls or plays in foul territory where catches weren't made. That way there is suspense because we don't know if they'll actually catch it or not. Otherwise we know it's going to be an out. P.S. love the videos👍🏼🙏🏼

Can we just talk about how professional the Preds look? Black shirt, black shorts, white cleats. Its a clean uni 👌

As a self-proclaimed MLW Analyst here are my thoughts on the series; -The Preds definitely surprised me. Looked very good, makes me think that this squad is definitely coming back into the postseason and gonna be a big contender all year. Also, McGlade looked phenomenal, just matters if they can keep it up throughout the course of a season. -For some reason, I kept thinking about the 30 for 30 Two Days in September documentary about the dbacks and how they talked about having Ben Wilson on the sideline the entire World Series and saw how important it was, really saw that in Rudy Ramirez today, just something to think about. -For the Gators, just some Opening Day growing pains, they will still be dominant this season, they just need to get in their groove.

The Gators have never really been dominant. They are a perennial .500 team that got hot at the right time in the 2020 playoffs.

MLW Analyst here 1. Szerlag has the smoothest swing in the league. I made this comment about 3 years ago, even when he was struggling. I think he should pitch more. I've seen him do it, he's real good and lefties are a rarity in MLW. I see Szerlag in the top 5 in average by the end of the year. Rock solid defense too. 2. Rudy annoys me, although whatever he said to Kracht on the mound seemed to psych out the Gator hitters and kill their flow. Hitting is contagious and Rudy's quick quarantine of Kracht saved the game. 3. The speed limit was one of the best decisions MLW has ever made. Otherwise there would eventually be guys throwing 90 MPH from 40 feet. This way there is a good balance of strikeouts to contact. 4. I've heard Warda say he never played baseball, but he has a lot of skill. That's the beauty of wiffle ball. It puts people of all builds on equal ground. Very little strength is required to throw and swing, but the reaction time and coordination needed is equal to baseball. Which brings up a good point. See #5 5. Will MLW see another female player? I know of at least 1 in when the league was in it's infancy, but not in a while. There's no reason why a college level softball player couldn't play at MLW level.

Szerlag could be a top 5 hitter but he pulls his bat away from the ball with his stride. If he would stop stepping out with his stride and stride more straight he could make more contact and not strikeout so much. Watch his at bats specifically when he strikes out. He pulls his bat away each time. I’m with you, Rudy couldn’t play on my team. Too hyped for my liking.

Let’s go preeeeddddddssss wanted the sweep, but the boys look like they’re back. Everyone was confused by the Harley pick (I really was, but felt Warda, Brendan and specifically Kracht knew something we didn’t) but they all looked great out there. McGlade looked good in game 2, but he got roughed up in game 3, but I’m not too worried, he’s gonna get better and better. Preds definitely have the buffest team in the league though. Happy to finally see my squad again! Let’s goooooo

runner on second in extras only makes sense if you want a long game to end quickly. These games are short af and are exciting when they go longer so theres no point in using that rule

@18:54 You were correct the first time (and the second time, too). Any tag out when the runner was forced is still considered a force. If that was the third out, the runner would not score regardless of when he touched home.

The Preds seriously surprised me with this series win. A lot of teams last year really showed out and made moves to become serious contenders and it kinda looked like the Preds were one of the teams on their way down the ranks. I don't think the gators are the biggest challenge, but they really looked good today all around with russell, mcglade, and warda.
