Fitted Gator GRV90MKT. Camera mount no instruction relating to mirror left or right image. Mounted reverse camera only to find flip two positions not full rotation?

Incomplete? How's the reverse camera?

A mini usb to power the screen? what year is this, 2008? was keen on this camera, not so much after seeing this cost cut.

Agreed, anything that isn't USB-C compatible isn't something that I want.

I installed according to instructions can't get an image from camera just a black screen with grid lines .. what's the go??

Hi Jackman, the grid lines are not adjustable on this model. The only options are either on or off.

Why does my camera come on when ignition is first turned on, and also stays on after car is taken out of reverse? It's quite annoying to have to turn the unit off manually all the time.

Hi Jackie, there is a feature in the settings where you can have the screen automatically switch off after a preset amount of time.

How do you have it on constantly without turning off ?

Hi, there is an option in the settings which you can adjust to have it stay on full time. Refer to page 10 of the manual - LCD Power Save - switch to off.

Hi Callum, how long have you had this unit? There have been updates to it over time but it should definitely have the ability to turn powersave off and have the image displayed full time. Best to visit your place of purchase to have it checked / replaced / updated.

Hi Danny, The image will appear back to front if you are using the camera as a front camera but the orientation will be correct when it is flipped around and being used as a reverse camera.

Mine doesn’t turn on the green light on the cigarette lighter comes on then turns off but my rear view mirror screen never turns on?

Hi, the green light on the accessory socket must be illuminated for the unit to function. If the green light is not illuminated that indicates that the unit is not receiving power. There may be an issue with your accessory socket or the connector, it would be best to have this checked at your place of purchase.

Just installed it. But experiencing way to much glare. Daylight. With sun even worse. Shocking. Cant see anything or any use of its rearview camera purpose. Mosly see just normal rearview view mirror vision. Can't seem to use it. Just waisted $300 including installation. Not happy at all.

Poor quality product, any amount of natural daylight glaze on the mirror and you can't see the camera image. Instructions for use are extremely vague and basic.

It is useless, people should not waste their money to buy it.
