@@cvessex Whether the boat was at periscope depth or 30-40 meters deep doesn't matter... The boat can't manage 40 knots on the surface with the diesel engines and definitely not submerged with the electric machines...

this is such stupid crap! 16.5 km torpedoes, one torpedo every 7,5 seconds.Detectability by depths: 0-2.1 km -.- no ship manages to do anything over such a distance. it's a shame this game crashed so hard.

This is Perfect. As a Subs lover, Gato will be the first OP sub. It's a disappoint WG make Dive battery only like 3:50 sec.

This sub has major "pees sitting down" energy....if you play this, we are judging you.

3 min into the game and we already see a shotgun on shima... That's the problem : these ships are good both at long range and short range. If you can reach 16.5 km, you shouldn't be able to shotgun ships. And in the other hand, you can make a short range line able to shotgun, but with 8 km max range. What we have here is too strong (imo) so i don't want to play them... just like supershits.

To be fair that was a lucky hit. On the other hand the shima that got killed first was a very.....gooood player top push the cap so deep at the beginning.

@@nautilus7098 No. With 5.6 km you can't get closer than a sub. With 2km detection a periscope depth, your ability to anticipate enemy trajectory is insane, and i don't even talk about your ability to dev strike bow in ships. And if someone put a radar, you can just dive in. In a DD you are basically dead... Plus subs are small and have french saturation... Subs are one of the reasons player base is declining in the game, unlike DDs...

@@nautilus7098 A shima can't magically disappear in the water the next second and be untouchable/undetectable even to hydro/radar unless you time your ASW perfectly. Shima also doesn't have 40-50 second reload and is vulnerable to cvs and radar ships. The only defense of dds is either be lucky to torpedo the subs or pray that the sub does not shotgun as you approach to use your ASW. Did I mention that the sub can also outdamage some dds when ramming?

Loving how he didnt even need to TRY to kill that Zao..

nice demo about everything I hate about subs in the game. Too fast movement speed, unrealistics torps...

This game shows the stupidity of subs getting depthcharged while unspotted for a while. 11:58 only RDF-ed but planes are send at the precise location of the sub. that must have been a very good Annapolis player to judge subs distance to him so well.

@@vecioalpin8998 I use FDR hit 8 Torps stil 23k DMG and the Bomb also almost 20k. There's no change, only He Rockets Get Nerfed

93 knot torps?!… Right Lol! IRL American torpedos were incapable of even reaching 50 knots and a lot of times failed to explode on contact! This game is just reaching new highs of fantasy bullshit!! 😂

So it’s time to get myself a gato…

I dont like subs. When i do played them its mostly in CoOp for missions but this makes me want to get this one and play it in random :D

This thing seems like a POS. It doesnt get harpoon missles, and is detected inside of 2km. WTF?? It should never be detected. Ever. And the torps need a buff. Minimum there should be 20 tubes front and back and the torps should all do 70,000 damage each. Plus the sub seems slow. Buff the speed to 65knts submerged with infinite battery.

total bullshit, this is why i stopped playing the game.
