Learn how gastrin, cholecystokinin (CCK), and secretin work in relation to the digestion and absorption of ingested nutrients. These hormone directly allow for changes in gastrointestinal function that ultimately lead to food being broken down in physical and chemical digestion, and move the broken down nutrients into the blood stream.
