We don't "hog" anyone's time. They stay with us as long as they wish. They're all good friends with us and Malia and love playing with her. Characters will give you back the energy that you give them and they don't want to just stop for pictures, they want to play.

I don’t know if they still do this but when I was Malia’s age (around 15 years ago) they had story time with all of the princesses in what is now the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It was always my favorite part of Disneyland. I think this was probably replaced by the Royal Theatre storytelling, though.

From laughing out loud because of Gaston trolling Belle's storytime, to going "awwwww" and smiling from ear to ear with Malia singing to the King and his Dora Milaje

1:53 had me dying how he was telling him to look at him. i thought he was going to say something important, he just wanted to look at his reflection in the glasses. honestly this people that play the characters are amazing. they deserve way more props for what they do

I do gotta say I love the weird playfulness between Belle and Gaston. It's amazing. Like I know he's supposed to be rude but it's like they are old friends.
