A captain who blew 0.0 and no drugs in blood test was still arrested and charged with BUI. Time to change the process

When you get stopped by the FWC you are under arrest you will be arrested and put in jail they have to make their quota no matter what wether guilty or innocent of committing a crime you are under arrest.

Asking someone to Perform field sobriety Tricks on a moving boat is an assinine request from the officers . They Know you cannot pass these on a moving boat !

I do not see any PC for BUI investigation let alone arrest. The stop was valid for many reasons but stone sober the seated tests are difficult and geared towards failure.

What a cute little oompa loompa quota hire near the beginning. She'll be out there issuing citations and having male officers help her do arrests in no time! She can even drive the boat if they have a couple of cushions for her to sit on. Maybe I'm wrong and it was bring your daughter to work day.

If that operator passed his boaters certificate test he should know that he needs the bow lights and the 32 point light burning while under way. And the 32 point only while anchored. Who in their right mind carries $5000? I know it takes a lot of cash to buy things these days but not this much. Unless he plans on hanging out where Trump hangs but I don't think so in that boat.
