Check out the Gasmate WaterTech Portable Hot Water System here:
www.snowys.com.au/watertech-p...
The WaterTech Portable Hot Water System from Gasmate provides a luxurious hot shower wherever you set up your campsite.
This unit is simple to setup, heats up 3 litres of water per minute, is gas certified to Australian standards, with a flame failure safety system and low-pressure safety system for your peace of mind, a convenient LED panel that displays the water outlet temperature, and multi-season modes for efficient and comfortable use in any season.
In this video, our gear guru Ben gives you the details on the features of this system and shows you how to use it. He starts by walking you through the output, the hoses it comes with, and the different dials and features. Then he demonstrates how to turn it on and off, adjust the temperature, switch from summer to winter mode, and tips and tricks for getting the perfect pressure and temperature for your shower set up.
Then he answers commonly asked questions about hot water units such as: Can this unit be permanently mounted? and can you use two different outlets on a unit like this? So check it out above for all the details.

Thanks, The Thirsty Goose. When we first looked at these a while back we we skeptikal about htier comparison to other units in the market. But I was suitably impressed! Gasmate aren't making any outlandish promises, they have simply put together a hot water unit that, from our experience so far, does what it is supposed to - without hassles. ~ Ben

Now that is some _serious_ luxury! I thought I was glamping pretty hard with my little 12-volt shower, using water heated on the boiler tank that wraps around the chimney of my wood oven, but damn, this outclasses mine for sure. Perhaps someday, when I am in a more prosperous position, I'll be able to invest in one like this. 😍😍😍

@@SnowysOutdoors honestly, I've done the "roughin' it" thing in the past, and still can on shorter trips, but eh. Soft beds and hot water showers help me enjoy nature a bit more easily, and these days, there's a much more relaxed attitude about what constitutes camping anyway, so I'm okay with admitting I'm a tenderfoot. I bet you have just as much as I do, though! And why fix what ain't broken, right? Cheers to you. :-)

There's an issue with all kinds of water heating devices for outdoor showering: How to get the shower head fixed stably and high enough for the rose to be above the person showering, and with both hands free. Such a necessary device isn't addressed in the video, when it's essential for showering in privacy. Pop up shower tents have nothing to hang anything from inside them and need those stands as well, whatever water heating source they use. The only option is to look for them elsewhere.

@@miraboi1 yeah it can be easy to find your vehicle quickly overloaded. I try to make sure everything I add in or on the Patrol has two uses, and if it's a heavy item it needs to provide a safety benefit or offer a significant convenience. It pretty handy to be able to review the gear though, I get to test it out without purchasing... perks of the job I guess. This is all knowledge we try and get across in these videos. ~ Ben
