It is trying to reach a point of centrifugal autorotation, it is struggling to reach the critical speed of 88mph.
Your washing machine sounds ever the bearings are gone or the spider is going to snap

I have a gas cooker, a gas central heating boiler, why would a gas tumble be dangerous? I made a video today of an electric tumble that has lots of burnt lint around the elements, it is electric so it is safe?

Кузя ! I have had a White knight gas dryer for 20+ years (I'm on my second one now). No issues with them, extremely economical. I would not go would not go back to electric for love nor money

Do you get this dryer serviced along with every other gas appliance when you get someone over?

Hi, there is no requirement to have gas appliances serviced in the UK, unless you are a landlord and require a landlords gas cert. What do you think would be covered in a service?

@@bootsowen I am from the UK too. I know that Landlords checks are required but it is recommended that everyone should still have their appliances serviced anually. I want to be an engineer at some point.

It says in the manual an annual service is not required. I think as long as lint build up is minimised. There is nothing else to service.
Gas dryers will always cost less to run than a electric dryer, and the cost to run a gas dryer over it’s lifetime will be free since that’s how little they cost to run compared to electric. Gas dryers are the norm here in Southern California, and I’ve pretty much have grown up with gas dryers since I have lived in the current house I live in.
