This dude taught me more than my coworkers and mangers ever did. Wow. The weird thing about the cash register is when I press the cash button after I put the prepay the drawer NEVER opens so it’s very annyoung

This is very helpful, I’m on my way to becoming a lead of sorts(I already train newbies, which is amazing since I’m only 20). I’ll probably send them this video or make my own to act as a reference. At work I write notes as reference for safe drops, refunds(like if a charger didn’t work) etc. for those who are new to these systems, don’t worry it takes about a month of 20 hour weeks to really get fluent with it. Also try tour best to use the keypad area more often than the screen. The screens are really janky and I have put gas on the wrong pump multiple times. Also direct sunlight also messes with the touch screen. It’s best to learn with the keypad/board area first and use the touch screen if you can’t find something(for example coffee that you can easily press). In a rush with items and gas you technically shouldn’t have to even touch the screen. If your gas station has prepay only like mine, and you have to have reprints, match the times, and the items if needed. A lot of people use $20 to buy stuff and get gas, so it can get tricky if you’re not paying attentikn

I’m working at a gas station it’s really easy job and the cash regester is soo easy not trying to show off and I still work there I’m still gonna work there for like 5 or 4 more years

There's different systems .. Ruby .. sapphire.. they look similar but some layouts are different. I use to work at shell. Tomorrow I start at Chevron after not working in a gas station for 4yrs.

I can't believe I came to this video while I was trying to be hired by a gas station thinking I'd be using something like this. I started at a gas station a little more than a week ago now and the register is a touch screen through POS and it's a lot easier than this looks

How do I charge two pumps same times for example pump 1 - 10.00 and pump 5- 10.00 too how do I change him or her?

ok so....the total comes in green print means it's paid, total amount in red print is paid out drawer . So blue is hold? like payment is on hold from a card untill it gets on the card? Do I have this correct?
