    From a patient's perspective, this was quite a fascinating video. I have worn gas perms for years and having tried soft lenses a few times, I would never switch from the gas perms and the 20/15 vision they give me. I will say that your patient, if indeed it was her first time with gas perms in her eye, did a great job! My eye doctor said there's been a renewed interest in patients asking for gas perms that she's seen over the last 2-3 years noting their superior performance in visual acuity and long lasting lens life.

    Hi! I want to get a RGP contacts, do I have that choice to get go for soft or hard lenses? or the eye doctor will pick one for me.

    Hi, thanks for your comment! Your doctor will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both types with you. This will depend upon your individual prescription and your wearing requirements and they will advise what they consider to be the best option for you, but ultimately you should have the choice. Hope that helps! - Martin

    Hello there, I would be grateful if you could help me with sth I'm so doubtful. Is it possible to wear RGP on left eye for example, and the soft lens on right eye? How OK is that? Thankful in advance!

    Hi @ejvin7008! It is possible, but it would be preferable to wear RGP in both.

    My daughter is using Ortho-K lens. I am trying to find an easy way to insert lens in her eyes. Are RGP lenses are same as Ortho-K lens?

    Why am I getting double vision in one eye and blurry vision in the other after wearing them

  • @contamacltd

    @contamacltd

    Hi @trash-san3892! Double vision in one eye would indicate that the cornea is being distorted by the lens during wear. If you’ve checked that it’s not in the wrong eye and the lenses are not switched, then you should consult your practitioner.
