One thing I may add, I find that putting a regulator too close to the pool heater will cause improper reg lock up.

The size of pipe will go by the code book and will be determinate , how long is run , radius , total input of appliance , also require the trace wire to follow the gas line , same procedure as gas service line !

If you have pipe coming out of the ground for lets say a grill, is it code to use these risers. Meaning i cant have just the flex pipe from the ground? Nice video!!!

Hi there. I know this is an old video, but I was wondering If you wound up using the risers coming up out of the ground?? I would like to use this stuff to run heat to my garage and I thought about running the yellow piping straight up through the new garage foundation. Any thought? Thanks.

@@JoeLazzara no, I ended up running schedule 40 pvc with a flex line that was rated for outdoor use. Wardflex was the brand

@@bmbertges Perfect!! One last question; what did you do for the connection between the flex line coming up and the yellow gas line in the ground? Does it have to be wrapped in tape or anything like that? I really appreciate your help with this.

What is a yellow wire that runs along with this gas line for? 🤔
