Eritreans one party dictatorship has robbed the eritrean people of every thing for the last 30 years. The so called president esaias afwerki who us an ethiopian agent has ransacked country of everything. Currently the people of Eritrea have fled all over the world to escape the hardship of of living under this dictatorship. Eritrea has tens of thousands of prisoners, no water, no electricity, no universities, exile of over 800,000 young people. No economy, political figures killed staring from 40 years ago. Has been in war with neighbouring ethiopia where over 60,000 young people lost their lives for a war still not explained to the people, no media out let, the constitution has been demolished, indefinite military service with little money. I love Eritrea but hate Esaias, hgdef party and his brain dead natzi supporters. You will realise they are Ethiopians if you do a check on their family history. Our country is being hijacked. Eritrea is rich with natural resources and it's people are honest and hard working. All we need from our neighboring countries is a good diplomatic relationship where people can have a healthy economic relationship. One more thing, African NATIONS were created after the European colonization of Africa as the rest of the world nations. So you can't use an excuse of the over 3000 years notions. This is 21st century. We ERITREANS fought for our sovereignty and freedom. Eritreans voiced already through the 30 years struggle to gain our independence and have a place a sovereign country on the world map. So, Please respect our sovereignty. I wish you would answer the question of "how would you feel if other countries in Africa trying to disrespect the sovereignty of Ethiopia by trying to take the Ethiopian land and trying to convince the people of Ethiopia to be United with them?" Mind you, the notion of similarities in language and culture cannot be a reason for unification. Look around the world. People are related more than one ways but it doesn't mean they have to be unified.

Esaias is trying to give Eritrea to ethiopia. He has socially engineered Eritrea to be a weak state. He hasn't achieved his vision because of wayane and their own interest and ideology. As far as we eritreans go, we are scattered all over the world. Our political head figures have been killed. Our educated left the country. Our business people left. No university's means we are not teaching the society to think and compete with the world. We have no economy. We have been to war for Esaias the Ethiopians crazy vision. We are in a bad state as a nation. Hijacked by Ethiopians. Wake up you have nothing as an eritrean. Where is the gold money for example.

@ Tekeste Bereket: A good wish alone will never take us anywhere. We did not have a shortage of resources. We are a tiny country, but having a sea as big and important as the Rea Sea should suffice to make Eritrea one of the richest countries in the region. However, Eritrea has become a crippled state, our society has been systematically dismantled like never before, to the point where the once-proud Eritreans are ashamed of their identity. We can not deny this.
