I remember this and other easy listening songs while lying on the transmission hump in my Mom's 75 2door caprice classic to get warm. Way before carseats or the thought of putting kids in seatbelts LOL. This was like 79-80.

Best era for music...so pure and magical. Maybe it was us who were the pure and magical ones??

Beautiful and soulful music is still being produced to this day the difference is that you just don’t hear it on the radio and you have to find it yourself. The real issue is the media constantly pushing out garbage that fits their mold

This song is about Astro-projection. People leave their bodies during sleep and travel the earth. People were doing this lots in the 70s.

ON the original album cover Gary credits Paramahansa Yogananda. Yogananda was the founder of "Self Realization Fellowship", which is still in existence today and is going strong. Their main focus is to teach people how to meditate using the Kriya Yoga method. In this song he is slipping into a meditative state and is calling for Yogananda's guidance, "The Dream Weaver". A beautiful song and paying homage to his Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda.

this song takes me to a particular place and a particular time, 9:31 p.m. driving over tukeys bridge in portland , Me. it must have been 1975/76 the song came on the radio and i looked at the clock, i know it sounds stupid but all these decades later every time i hear this song WHAM!, i,m right back on that bridge, btw it was claudias plymouth fury 111 and i was in the back seat with roberta. it wasn,t until this very moment that i realized they both had feminine versions of male names, hmmm....
