I LOVE GARY PUCKETT! I can certainly understand why Elvis appreciated him; from one great singer to another!

Saw Gary Puckett tonight in Vegas at South Point and he did this song & told the story. What a beautiful tribute to Elvis, as Elvis fans my wife and I both got emotional while he sang this showing images of Elvis on the screen. The crowd went crazy! We got to meet him afterwards such a warm sweet man. A must see!

Its always amazing how other stars were as star struck as us regular fans were of Elvis... Elvis was a Gift From GOD!!!!

Elvis Presley has been my idol,since the age of 5. I love Gary Pickett as well! What a class act and a gentleman showing this much respect for the King!

Of course Elvis admired his talent. I'm sure he could completely relate to Gary's song ''YOUNG GIRL'. I like Gary but I love Elvis

Gary Puckett is one of my favorites. His work, he stands on his own. He is a legend.

I can't even hear most of what he said. Too much echo. What did Elvis say "Yeah man I know" about?

I sing this song as a finale' in EVERY show !!! (NOT anywhere near this good, though!)

Disappointing that the sound is so bad unable to make out what he is talking about!!

I could not understand a word he was saying. I would’ve liked to known what he was saying. I think I heard some more after a show of pocket Elvis came up to him and said boy you sure can sing

I think he said Elvis could not make it back to the dressing room to congratulate him (due to fan frenzy) but Elvis sent his manager to tell Gary Puckett "Boy, you sure can sing!" Also, later on Gary Puckett found out thru Priscilla that Elvis had a lot of Gary's album's in his collection. So, Gary said with a smile he realized then that "Elvis was a fan❤".

Not surprised, "The boy can sang..."

The Song is called "An American Trilogy" not "Glory Glory Hallelujah". Geesh.... get it straight, will you?

way too much bass in the audio cant really hear how great his voice is

I THINK he said, "The boy sure can sing." I had to listen a couple of times, too!

Gary's voice back in the day was better than Elvis.

Elvis did sing it better, no one can sing it like Elvis but Garry sang it and did it very well. What a great tribute to Elvis. I love the Union Gap what great music back then.
