No joke throughout yesterday's match looking at Ole I felt sad for him you could see it in his face he knew he was going. Something's wrong with man Utd. You should be thrashing Watford especially considering Ronaldo. Maybe just maybe it's not Ole to blame. There's little a manager can do when 4 games in the prem and you score what 3 goals. And only 3 points. Now I'm not saying Ole should've stayed but I'm not saying he should've gone but something's wrong with Utd

United imploded the day Ferguson retired because every aspect of the club's structure was built around him. They've suffered ever since. It happened to Liverpool when Dalglish resigned in 1991 after two decades of managerial solidity, stretching back to the days of Shankly. The United board and even Ferguson himself didn't prepare the club for the next manager to take over. Ferguson was in such control of that club that absolutely no one questioned his leadership. It was built around his philosophy and no one elses. Since that time they've had managers that either the board or fans didn't truly believe in. Eventually they even lost all their leaders in the team. Ole was never in charge. He was no leader and the players and board knew that.

Exactly, they have tried everything possible. From a dominant controlling manager to a naive mild-manager. Nothing seems to work for this team. The problem lies somewhere else. I predict the next comes changes the fortune temporarily ( remember the fairy tale beginnings of Ole) and gets the sack within the next 2 years or so. Clockwork United. Winning is a core mindset instilled at the core from the staff to the players. This crop of players and staff don’t have that. He never got them back to Mourinho's level, let alone any improvement on it. Mourinho won trophies. Ole didn't. He took them backwards. He never steadied the ship, it was just the collapse of other teams around them (Liverpool's injury season, Chelsea's Lampard experiment and transfer embargo, and the collapse of Arsenal and Spurs as top 4 sides) that propped them up in the table when they had no right being there.

He has a powerful squad. And yet when match after match his normal 11 fails, he neglects to use it. What did we get yesterday? Instead of starting Van De Beek and Lingard, he leaves bringing Van De Beek on until half-time. Did Ole actually tell him 'Go on and show why I was wrong not to have started you'? Which he duly did. His last 'positive' decision at the club was to send on Lingard around the 90-minute time. Bizarre and insulting.

If Man United lose their next three games to Chelsea, Arsenal and Crystal Palace respectively (which I think they will) that'll be five back-to-back defeats and seven losses out of eight games with one win away at Spurs in between.
