@@GregFitch Thank you. I just play instrumental lines and when someone expects me to know what chord is being played I feel dumb. I have to be told what chord and then I can play it using theory. My ear just cant hear the progression if there are too many minor and major seventh chords going on. I would not have guessed these chords. Looks interesting though. Learn the progression to Cry Baby Cry by the Beatles if you want a weird progression. Two keys?

No worries Humberto. They are the notes on the fretboard as if the guitar is flat on your lap - your biggest string is at the bottom. There are licks in this video which go with the track - kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6xourV9f5Oqn9Y.html Hope that helps buddy :-)

The pentatonic scale can be used to improvise over most chord progressions or create solos. Spend a couple of days practicing the A minor Pentatonic scale in position 1. You can look that up all over the internet. You'll find every note in the scale works to some degree over this backing track. Just playing the scale up and down over a backing track will help you learn the sound and you can then be guided by your ears. It all seem quite daunting and complicated at first but it's not. Start with the basics and add little bits to musicians tool box. You'll quickly realize that by learning the A minor Pentatonic scale, you can play the same thing in any key, major or minor. It's all connected.

When the penny drops and the lights switch on, all those players who spent too long in the pentatonic trap will find themselves playing "I've still got the Melancholy for you". If jamming with this trap helps some on that journey then it's a job well done. I'm sure you know what I mean 😉

@@timwilkerson1989 I dont see the chords either. The A C D E G listed up top are not the chords but the CAGED approach to scales. I tried playing those and had a WTF moment before I realized what they were. Again, where do you get the chords? My ear can only pick out a few of them. Love the progression though. Easy track to really play some intense blues.
