I'm 70 years old. I didn't know Thin Lizzy. I didn't know Gary Moore. I just "discovered" them this year 2020. I like Thin Lizzy. I like Phil. I like all their guitarists and drummer, too. Gary is amazing here. Glad I found them all before I die. What talent from one band!

Brian's playing always seems so right, it is easy for a guitarist to overlook its vital, driving importance and beauty. I am more aware of it these days. It sounds very powerful and "percussive", like he hits the kit really, really hard, a bit like an entire military drum band but a very fast one, charging into battle perhaps! :D He can play subtly too of course. God love him ;)

Absolutely awesome, if that doesn’t stir your emotions, lift your heart and get it racing, probably nothing else will! The excellent Brian Downey, Scott Gorham the ‘Celtic Californian’, and Gary Moore for whom there are not enough superlatives to describe his talent and musicality, all paying tribute to their legacy and that of the songwriting brilliance of Phil Lynott!

Heard the news yesterday and was blown away, Gary was the soundtrack of my youth. Saw him in '87, '89, '90, '07 and was delighted when I saw him a few months ago, playing his old rock classics again. This was supposed to be a good year for Gary, a new DVD coming up and even a possible new Celtic record with old bandmate Neil Carter. It isn't to be and I'm heartbroken about it.. My heart goes out to his family, rest in peace Gary, you're music will live on forever! Blood Of Emerald!!
