@@agillan2930technically it depends on which persons point of view you are referring to. Perhaps technically the Welsh are the only true British people, as many still speak the only truly British language. Ireland isnt British unless you must include the English occupied northern territories. Scotland was only British speaking south of the Tweed and Clyde. the English language is Germanic not British. So the English aren't really British either

Gary Moore does an amazing job of getting to the heart of Clapton’s improvisational style and staying true to Cream’s free musical spirit.

Sadly, Pete Brown, who wrote the lyrics to many of the beloved songs included here, passed away in May 2023, the last of the four legends performing in this show.

@@yippy327Yeah , so sad he was sick a long time . I saw him in Vienna last year (2022) and I knew this would be the last time . May he rest in peace and write now sitting for God’s throne .
For Pete Brown, may he rest in peace, and my old friend Jack Bruce.
Gary Moore was an animal this night on the ol Les Paul! And damn do i love it when he got like that! Absolutely amazing performance by all, God bless them for the irreplaceable music they left in their wake! 😋

Got that right!!!
This is great! Moore's approach is so far removed from Clapton's that it gives Bruce and Baker a whole new beast to work with. And they're all over it. It's a fantastic way to breathe life into old music.
Amazing energy ! I saw Jack , Gary and Gary Husband on drums at Dick Heckstall Smith tribute in i think 2006 in London , Dominion . It was unbeivable , even to this day ive never seen s bettrr 30 minute set . Rest in peace , jack ,gary and ginger.
RIP RIP RIP bloody hell, they’re all gone
Cream Mark II......So rich and sweet.
Legends at their best! Brilliant!

The ancient Greeks created a whole 'religion' or mythology in an attempt to understand and explain... the Godlike qualities of outstanding individuals and the sadness linked to their passing. I like to think they are somewhere out there on Olympus, united once more, healthy, in their prime, and playing away.
Saw them at Brixton Academy- a night to remember.

Guest appearances by vocalist Pete Brown (who recently passed away and wrote most of the lyrics for Cream/Jack Bruce); Bernie Worrell on keyboards (who became famous as "P-Funkateer") and on the last song Simon Phillips plays drums. He's the only musician at this concert who's still with us, today.
Real Musicians.
The Greatest drummer and Bass Players ever. Period. Gary Moore a top 10 guitarist 🎸 of all time. Mad Dog Sweeney 🐕

All three are now... ghosts. Gary Moore's playing is far more 'muscular' and robust, than Clapton's style. Moore plays so many notes. This kind of shows the differences between these two outstanding players. Moore has a thicker tone too, compared to Clapton, who's playing seems to almost float above the tunes on another level.

There is such a thing as too many notes. I feel that Clapton hit the perfect balance between intense and articulate when he was in Cream.
@michaelk5507

I think, the spaces between the notes are just as important, perhaps even more important, than the notes one plays; I think Clapton, at his best, understands this.@@barrybrevik9178

On a more prosaic level. Ginger Baker was less than complimentary about Gary Moor's style. Suppose one can't please everyone!
