Great band when I hear these songs takes me straight back to my teens you guys were so cool 😎

I wish Gary would do whatever it takes to win Tony back. This is very painful for the fans. Tony, Steve and Keebs are all very close and then there are the Kemp Brothers, Martin is neutral as Switzerland. Please, for the fans! LIFE is short. Tony is lovely as is Steve, top gentlemen. Gary is an amazing songwriter, in the true sense of the word. Just brilliant..and together, they are a magical group. xx

I totally agree with you Lisa...it's time to put to bed their differences, but we don't know how deep the fall out also probably words said that shouldn't have been said, left two great people wounded....imo you can't have Spandau without Tony...he is the voice...

Martin isn't neutral at all. In fact, I think he's the one that caused the most damage in the relationship. Gary and Tony have never been that close, but Martin and Tony were really friends. Martin hasn't been very nice to Tony in the media over the past years. What a way to treat a friend...

@@sassyd8738 Both Tony and Gary don't want to work it out. It's obvious from the interviews they give that it's over as far as they're concerned. And I think they're right. I would not enjoy a show knowing a few people on stage don't like each other that much.

@@j.schermer3523 I didn't know this since I live in California. I did watch the Kemp tv special and it made me sad when Tony's painting had the devil's horns on it. Not really funny in my humble opinion. I thought Martin was neutral so that is my uninformed opinion. I just wish they could find the magic again. But, maybe my memories will have to sustain me. Martin was great to meet my sister who has had 38 brain surgeries and I will always be grateful for that kindness. Steve is my Spandau HERO! Love him to pieces, what a lovely and kind man he is. SO FUN! Cheers to you. Stay safe.

@Joe Bloggs yes, but the ones that arn't "incredible" are pretty good, no he isn't a John lennon, but he's a quality pop songwriter, and he's a good enough 'prog' guitarist to be able to play in nick Mason's band, so in this context a better guitarist than lennon, and hey I'm a John lennon fan, he was a better guitar player than he is credited, but wouldn't have the guitar chops to play pink floyd compositions.

@Joe Bloggs I agree, the point I was making is gary isn't a mug, he is talented, you mentioned 'incredible' songs or 2 in particular, well I would say probably 4,the rest good to very good, the same with his new album, some very good, a few good, I'm not actually a massive spandau or gk fan, but I acknowledge whay they achieved in the 80s and what gary is capable of now, gary is more than a technical player also, happy listening.

I just watched Gary Kemp in the 1972 CFF film "Hide and Seek". How he's changed. He's unrecognisable now to what he looked like 49 years ago when he 13.

There‘s always a lot of ‚I‘ when Gary talks. He really should give the other bandmembers more credits.

I wish Tony would get over his differences with Gary and do it for the music.

@@davidparada1307 Both are working on a solo album. Tony has his own amazing band for over 20 years now. He‘s a happy kid when he‘s on stage with them. Gary does a great job with SFOS. Why working with people you don‘t feel happy with anymore if you can work with people you love?

The genius behind starting and destroying the same band.

Who knew behind the scenes that Spandau Ballet were toxic with each other, well certain band members anyway. This is sad, great band, just a pity that they weren’t all friends.

True and Gold are overrated....Chant No.1, Through The Barricades and Muscle Bound are masterpieces
