I don't think people have any idea how inexact these ancestry tests are at this point, especially the cheaper ones. Modern genetic anthropologists can guess your race with 100% certainty, but narrow it down to which ethnicity(ies) your are within that race and things become a crapshoot. Not mention they update the results every few months after they collect more data and they nearly always wind up changing pretty dramatically. Odds are Gary is in reality mostly Italian but carries some strands of DNA more commonly found in the Balkans, although they're probably found pretty frequently amongst the Italian genepool as well because those areas have a lot in common genetically.
