Hi Marty, Congratulations on your gig up in New York. I always enjoy your videos. Fantastic! You have changed my life. Really. Let me explain. I had wanted to learn to play guitar nearly all of my life (I am now 57). What with work and family, I never did. Two and a half years ago I injured my back (it's much, much better now). Needless to say I had a lot of time on my hands and could do nothing much but sit. So...I bought my first guitar and started messing around with it. I looked online for instruction and that is when I found you. You made it so easy. I was really excited. As you instructed, I learned my pentatonics - majors and minors and blues as well arpeggios, falsettos... I was hooked COMPLETELY! I bought another guitar, two, three, four... I now have 15. Acoustic ones (including a beautiful all mahogany Fender), electric ones (including a beautiful mahogany Gibson Les Paul - my baby) Both of these were played and autographed by our friend, Dick Wagner (of Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, etc fame). And a beautiful Takamini 12-string. Many are tuned in different keys for various songs. I use many of them regularly. I spend a good bit of time just noodling - for hours and hours and hours... I have composed several songs (although they are instrumental as I do not presently sing - soon.). We recently added a music room to our house. (My wife was tired of tripping over guitars and cases all over the living room) What I want now - very badly - is to play with others. I do sometimes play over Skype with my friend in Norway. But I need more guidance in the best way to merge with others. I REALLLLLLY would love to receive these DVDs. I will definitely put them to great use. Unbeknownst to you, you have been my partner in this. I have learned so much from you and everyday want to learn more...something new...something different. I give everyone interested in learning, your links and encourage them to check them out. Thank you so much. You have definitely changed my life. Tracy Light P.S. I've been working on your video for Led Zeppelin - D'yer Mak'er. Still a little slow, but it's coming. I've been having a bit of fun with the Gary Clark Jr - When My Train Pulls In...although it's not my wife's favorite. Enjoying the Eric Clapton - Cream - Crossroads - Blues Turnaround Lick by Tim Pierce too - got that down today, working on the speed now. Being huge Zeppelin fans, I've been working on Tony's Led Zeppelin 10 years gone video. That is my wife's favorite song. I'd love to hear him do the rest of the song. I want to learn the whole thing. P.P.S. :) - almost done... Best of luck with all you pursue. Love to hear you talk of your family. You're very talented and deserve all the success that comes your way. I know this has been a bit longer post than usual, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you. Peace and Rock On!

Another great lesson
So great!!! And also very interesting!!!
Yo Marty , ur tha shit I've learned so many songs from u. Most of these Bozos on the YT can't teach; most either have a terrible camera angle or they don't really know the songs correctly. Ur video lessons are the standard by which I measure the rest by. Have a good one bud
Soo sick man Sounds awesome
As always I learn al lot watching youre video's
great riff, Thank You!
Thanks, Marty! Nothing like a good E blues riff!
For anyone wondering, GCJ uses a Fulltone Octafuzz (on fuzz setting). I've got one myself and am able to get pretty damn close to his tone! It's a great pedal!
Thanks for the lesson Martin
Great riff and sound, more Gary Clark Jr. please
