Today I found out there were two live adaptations of Garth Marenghi's other stories, Netherhead and Fright Knight, which Richard Ayoade also performed in along with Matt Holness. They did them back in 2000 and 2001 though, so any footage of them is probably exceedingly rare if it exists at all. Seems like a huge missed opportunity to cater to a hungry audience of American fans. Could even produce a new DVD/Blu-Ray with a real, out-of-character commentary track (though I think this would be unlikely as Ayoade and Berry seem to have forgotten about Darkplace, never see them in interviews about it/never hear them reference it)

But I’m starting to get pretty high up in view count with the commentary that I can quote it along with the show now lol. I’ve been starting to pick apart man to man as well. And I think I figured out Madeline’s death I think she died when they blew up the ambulance she got hit by a piece of debris. Which actually almost happened to Alice Lowe during the filming of that scene but Garth mentions it in character in episode 1 or two commentary and then the episode 4 tribute to Madeline has some pretty suspicious stuff in the commentary as well.
