Because Garret is a literal sweetheart and it always just broke me when Shane and shit would be really rude to him and hate on the things he loves/who he is/what he looks like. Andrew and garret are really sweet together and it really makes me so happy to see Garrett so genuenly happy whenever they hang out and have someone actually laugh at his jokes because he actually thinks they're funny. Also, Andrew used to be really nervous but he's become more outgoing and confidient since hanging out with garret. its all really sweet they have one of the most genuine friendships and I love how comfortable they can be around each other.

Garrett is so utterly himself and I think that's wonderful. It makes me so happy that Andrew finds Garrett so genuinely delightful and funny, encouraging him rather than shutting him down like Shane used to do. I also love how much Garrett makes him laugh and really engages with him and brings him out of his shell. They really are perfect for each other and if anyone has listened to their podcast, you realise that Andrew is honestly just as chaotic as Garrett lol
