The thing is, we saw all the hardships and pain that Garou went through. Saitama also went through that, but it was just skipped in the manga.

@@AJ-ry8qd what doesnt make sense to me is that to "transform" into anything in the opm universe wether it be a monster or the strongest being ever, you have to have a desire to be it. For example Saitama wanted to be the Strongest hero there ever was and his training to get there was 100 push ups 100 sits ups 100 squats and a 10km run. As a result he went bald but unlocked limitless power cuz that's what he wanted. But Garou wants to be the strongest Monster and he's going through way more than Saitama ever did while he was "Transforming". So technically when Garou finishes his phase he should be way stronger than Saitama, his desire to fight when he fought 8 heroes then his Sensei and iron fist, then fights that Demon guy and bug villain, gets slashed up and almost killed, heals from it and goes back to the Monster hideout to fight the demon dude again except now he has a powerup, he stopped that sword with his hand but gets stabbed in the stomach in the process, still fights and absorbs a whole energy beam from that Demon level dog, fights Orochi and gets stabbed right thru his abdomen, STILL ALIVE he's chained up against the wall and later fights DarkShine and BEATS HIM. Like wtf this guy with the amount of Training and Injuries he's been through he's still not Stronger than Saitama? Bs

@@Shay001 the reason why is he still not on the same level as Saitama First, this series is called "One Punch Man" for a reason. Second, it's true that Garou has experienced pure hell in the last few days (judging the timeline in the manga) but to me, all those injuries felt like "one day training" for Saitama. Meanwhile Saitama have been doing it nonstop everyday. If the result of "one day training" Saitama is the same as for Garou endure all this time then you must know the vast difference between them. Last, Garou is a person born with talent. He's special when it comes to Martial Arts. Thus, with him keep surpassing his limiter on each fight, it makes him "easily" to break his limiter. He broke his limiter a few days after he fought Metal Bat. That's why he can transforms into the being he was longing for. Meanwhile Saitama, he's just a regular person with nothing to be proud of. Because he doesn't have any talent or special traits, after he make a wish for himself and trying like hell to make it happen, he finally broke his limiter in about 1.5 years after he began his training. At this point, he's basically make his dream come true (can easily sent his enemies flying with just one punch) But he keep doing it because he doesn't know if it's already strong enough or not (neither Garou). After 3 years doing something so repetitive for almost everyday, he keeps breaking his limit until there are no "limiter" left to be break again in his body. Thus making him "removing his limiter". The strength that comes of this result is defied logic. Garou has broke his limiter. Meanwhile Saitama had removed his limiter

Even if it WAS hard for Saitama, Garou probably did his own training that was hard for him too if ykwim, and he's been doing it since a kid and he's 18 now. Definetly more than 3 years. Whatever, this show's logic is dumb anyways

i disagree, because he's really not much of a hero. He's just a freak for strength that knows whats right from wrong, a sense of morality. So he can be merciful and he will kill the monsters to prove he is stronger than them, of course its the same deal with heroes but he still think monster's are cooler than heroes. He would more aim to beat up heroes than kill them but at the same time, he isn't really a good guy or a hero either. He's more like an anti-hero that wants to get stronger, not a broken hero. He's part villian and part hero but mostly a villian. Atleast thats what i think when he became cosmic garou.

Some say that Saitama doesn't deserve his power since Garou went through a lot more than him. But literally Saitama being an ordinary person, he went through hell for three years carrying his body to the limit, and at the same time fighting monsters that almost led him to death on numerous occasions. Maybe he didn't have as spectacular battles as Garou, but his perseverance to overcome his limits by being a simple normal person, they make him worthy of that great power.

If Garou gets the animation he deserves in S3 I want to see this video again but anime.

the build up for garous character has been immaculate and the new chapters showing the true extent of his power has been the most excited I've been for along time.

Unironically if the anime adaptation just took Murata's manga art and put it into motion like this, it would have been so much better. The animation presented here itself is pretty limited, but what matters is this dynamic art that adds all this energy.
