Everyone- Garmadon does not love Christofern more than Lloyd. Christofern represented Lloyd. Why have so many missed this? Remember when he said the 'only green thing in my life, and hopes he will forgive him, and now he's all alone.' ? Who do you think he was really talking about? He denies it at the time when Nya calls him out on that. But that's just his defense mechanism. That's his character, we should all know by now. The whole point is the plant represented Lloyd, and their relationship. He was sad when he thought the plant died, because it represented the death of their former loving relationship. Come on people! lol. The writers put a lot of really subtle things into this show, but if you pay attention, you have an 'Aha' moment. I think the only reason why it was easier for Garmadon to show affection to the plant, was because it was safe. Lloyd was so angry at his father. It's hard to connect when someone is so angry, especially when you are riddled with guilt over it. He is. Garmadon I mean. (also, read the comics) They hint at this multiple times with things he says, facial expressions, sad music, etc. And each time Garmadon does try and show he cares about Lloyd, Lloyd just snaps at him. So again, the plant is just a safer thing. This is actually pretty basic psychology. Nothing is more painful than a rift between parent, and child.

@@llPeytonUwUll You mean me? lol. I'm a writer. I also type very fast. And I love Garmadon. He's such a compelling character. I want to see him done justice. Everyone keeps saying he is heartless, and cares more about a plant than his kid. Not true. I do think the writers could have done a better job explaining this stuff for clarity.

@@llPeytonUwUll which part? About the plant being Lloyd? It didn't. It only suggested it when Garmadon talked about it, and then denied it, and many fans seem to have missed it, and think Garmadon loves the plant, but not Lloyd.

Rip Christofern. May he stand proud in heaven. Also considering how saddened Garmadon was, I wouldn't be surprised if Garmy didn't go super saiyan over it

Christofern is still alive. Nya confirms that he is a Baracis Ninjagis or something like that. Christofern grows back in the ending

No, the film version of him was terrible. He's just more like his old self now on the series. Like a combination of his first incarnation as the dark lord, and his sensei form. Which makes sense, as that is basically how he's supposed to be now, a little of both parts of himself. That is balance.

The fact that garmadon basically loves christofern more than Lloyd IS SO FUNNY

They actually did. One of the pedestrians screamed "It's Garmadon!!" As a reference to the song "It's Garmadon"

I love how everyone is screaming and panicking while Garmadon is just calm.

In terms of humor, I enjoy this Garamadon more, but in terms of characterization, I enjoyed Season 1-2 Garamadon.

I kinda like this one too, he gives off the vibe that he has amnesia about certain concepts but at least at the end he is trying to reconcile with Lloyd.

@@senabecool7232 My family has ties with Tommy Andreasen (co creator of Ninjago) and basically S4 served as his development season and they didn't know how to incorporate him in S5 with Morro and stuff and they wanted more character development for Lloyd.

I think he's always been like this but it's just kinda, exaggerated with how he was brought back. He wasn't brought back fully, he had to take time to regain his memories and strength and everything, and so he doesn't really understand a ton. He's always been like this, it's just the way he was brought back that took it to 11

You missed the point. The point is that Christofern is a metaphor for his relationship with lloyd. He just expresses it through the plant.
