When you go to an Indian restaurant you always end up ordering Naan or Lachha Paratha cause you know you are not going to get this at home, as you think you are going to need that clay pot oven, a tandoor, to get that taste and feel. I am sure you would definatly would love to give it a try. So today i am going to share this very simple and easy way to make naan, with garlic (optional) at home using just a griddle. Also this recipe is yeast free so if you are allergic or just not to comfortable using yeast then all your prayers have just been answered.
So let’s get started… and let’s make your kitchen your family’s favourite restaurant.

Yes, she's a living DOLL! I listened while I made Naan. And enjoyed her "enjoyment!"
Iam Spanish but my husband is indian and I love Indian food and also Iam learning how to do Indian dishes but the only thing I don’t know is to do garlic naan thank you so much u make it so easy Iam going to try to do it and surprise my husband ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Best non yeast recipe EVER! I even cut it in half to make less and turns out superbly. Don't ever stop!
Who would dislike this? It's NAAN. That's one of the best breads ever. Every time I go to my local Indian restaurant, I always get naan with my entree.
Love her personality and she's explain the ingredient measurements
Finally! I've been searching for a good, real-tasting naan recipe for ages - one the doesn't look or taste like it came from Kansas or Tennessee instead of South Asia. This is exactly it! The directions are perfectly clear, the ingredients easily available - and the particular tips and tricks and insights are absolutely invaluable to understanding how properly to make this wonderfully simple flat bread. The use of curd/yoghurt instead of yeast is THE trick here; the scorching of the exposed, unturned surface absolutely the best way to duplicate the way bread cooks in the tandoori. Alpa is a knowledgable, informative, perfectly delightful teacher; her steps are perfectly clear. Thank you!

Are you sure it really rise as no yeast, how can it rise in double ? I have not try as wondering is the recipe correct as I just made a banana cake that was hard, only 1/4 teasp baking soda given. I feel weird and added in 1/4 teasp of baking powder, the banana cake didn't taste or look nice, recipe from some other chef. I did make some buns with baking powder and baking soda, but the didn't rise, rise only when we bake it. So I am wondering will it rise. Thank you.
Thanks so much for posting this recipe!! I tried making naan from scratch for the first time and it was a hit! Definitely going to be a regular recipe for weekend dinners in my house! 🤗
The goodness of your heart & soul show in your smile ... Lovely personality & b4 I forget, thanks much for the Naan's recipe ...

I knew curd/yogurt was basically the same thing. Apparently they’re fermented differently, not that it would make the slightest difference when cooking. And we had Chicken Tikka Masala and rice. It was pretty good but I'm going to change a few things next time. Maybe you have a recipe to share one day. :)
Yummy. Can’t wait to try this!

Your naan bread looks great, Thank you for the detailed recipe.
I made this, while in self isolation due to lock down - and used a chefs blow torch to brown the top as I was not sure it would stick on the pan, and not fall off onto the gas hob lol.....VERY nice, and easy to make thank you

I had to use my oxy acetylene kit on mine cause I haven't got a kitchen blow torch and I have electric stove, not gas. I used a cast iron dry frying pan to cook the bottom part.
