We love the burnt ones at our house too! My son told me to tell your daughter, make Brussel sprout chips. 5-6 brussel spruts, cut off bottoms, separate leaves. In a bowel, drizzle about 1 to tables spoons of EVVO on the leaves, use salt and pepper to taste, (Yes, I stoled your line :) ) add garlic powder to taste. rub every leaf well with mixture, until all are coated. on a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper, place leaves in a single layer,cook at 350F, 10 minutes. Flip after 10 minutes and cook for another 10-20 mutes until crispy. My son has been making these for us since he was 12, we LOVE them. Love your family, they are all great!

I love the potatoes recipe and have used the zucchini "strips" in a recipe but I sauteed it - will try it in a salad instead. Thank you! Your daughter is lovely - enjoy the two of you together!
