Really developing a fondness for these guys. :) Don’t have any reptiles yet, but thinking about making one of these lovelies my first (eventually). I’ve watched many videos about their care etc but this is the first one I’ve seen covering morphs or colours. I had no idea there was so much variation! I love the lighter coloured eyes as I find the lines and detail fascinating to see. Other than that, pretty flexible with appearance. :) Thanks for helping break down some of these terms and providing both visuals and explanations to elucidate.

I just got my first Gargoyle gecko. They said she was about 3 years old, but her owner didn't want her anymore and she ended up at a petstore :( Around me Gargs are really hard to find, so the fact she was $100 seemed like a good deal. I think she's beautiful. From this video, I know she's stripped - blue/grey eyes - and while she does blend in to her tree, she has thin stripes of orange down her back.

hey i wana get into gargoyle geckos I had crested before. my question is. what morph is worth more??? what should I look for for a breeding project? and what base color is more sought after

Question is red or orange stripe/blotch gargoyle gecko is considering a designer morph/color?

Trying to figure out what my little garg is after two months of having him. This definitely helped narrow things down. He does have some traits I'm pretty sure haven't been mentioned here, though. Maybe I should wait until he's more grown before I figure it out since some traits might not show up as much or change by then.

So my Gargoyle is a super stripe with white base and no red in it. Only like 3 tiny scales on his back. But when he's fired down he is completely white lol? So what determines the morph fired down or up ?

So how long do gargoyles take to develope coloring? I have an opportunity to scoop to red stripes. One looks light red with yellows but his clutchmate looks almost reticulated. No reds at all. Not sure if i should pull the trigger. Im getting a good price but could if be too good to be true?

I used to talk with Paul often when he was in Pa and did shows up here. It seems like most of the traits are codom, what is your experience with them? I’ve personally never seen the phantom eyes, is that recessive? Or a random trait?

Paul now lives by me. I want to eventually do a video with him if he is cool with it. The phantom is hard to work with because it shows up after a couple years and this is my first time breeding them. But the Color morphs are dominant to a certain degree. I have never hatched a gargoyle from a red stripe/blotched that didnt have some degree of red or orange.

Been doing some research about the gargoyle gecko and looking at places to get them. Do you know any good places and reasonably priced. Looking for orange or red color and no preference on gender.

Gargoyle gecko Queen online has really good geckos and good care. She's expensive though. Research local conventions near you

my gargoyle, 7 months, came to me 3 weeks ago. i gave him pangea anf crickets. i think he didnt eat his pangea. i tried out giving more and less trying to recognize if its only a small amount what he ate. He ate the crickets very well so far. any tips? dont know how to get him eating.. pangea/ repashy.
