Prime Gareth Bale was incredible. Absolute world beater. He never would have won the trophies at Spurs that he did at Madrid, but I always felt it was better for him to be the main man in a team. He never was at Madrid with Ronaldo there.

He had no choice. When Real Madrid come knocking, there really isnt much you can do about it. Would have rather have got £86M for him than see him go on a free transfer after he doesnt sign a new contract.

He was absolutely incredible in his last years in England, especially in the last one... Such a shame he had so many injury problems in Real Madrid. He's was an absolutely incredible athlete, so dominant on the pitch, like a bionic person.. I'm sure he would get close to Cristiano and Messi if he only stayed injury free there and only replicated his Spurs performances in Real Madrid shirt. He was simply an unstoppable force in his last year in England.

he is not even one of the greatest players ever..he will get there..there are at least 100-200 players in history many unknown better then him..however he is a fantastic player..but far from greats..Suarez Modric and Di Maria were better than him this season..Bale has scored just more beautiful goals because he is fast..thats hes luck..technically he is not better then Suarez Modric or Di Maria..but dont forget he played also in la liga not premier league this season..Suarez did better in a tougher league..
