GARDENA smart Irrigation Control - How to (Chapter 2/6: Valve Box V3)

Ғылым және технология

When is the right time to water your garden? In just five short and easy to understand videos, we show you how to install your new GARDENA smart Irrigation Control Set so that when it's the right time to water your garden, it is also done by just lifting one finger. In the second video, we set up the GARDENA Valve Box V3 but as it is so smart, you can also use your already existing one.
The GARDENA smart Irrigation Control allows flexible control of up to six separate irrigation zones with the system’s smart App, for example in the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System or Sprinklersystem. The system enables individual watering intervals to be regulated to also ensure optimal irrigation of planting areas that have different water requirements. In connection with a GARDENA smart Sensor, unnecessary watering is prevented for optimal water management. The smart Gateway ensures central networking, which creates an Internet connection using an existing router. In this way, it acts as the core of the smart system to permit cable-free network communications between all GARDENA smart system devices in the garden and the GARDENA smart App.

I have not received the cover to protect wire fittings which goes on top of the wires that you can screw on with the v3 box I just bought. I am in Germany. should this be included?

I'm assuming the power cable between the boxes and from box-connection junction is weather proof considering you're placing it completely out in the open free for all elements to interact with it?

Hello Andreas, Yes, but please note the following: Mount the irrigation controller in a weather-protected location. Protect the power supply from moisture and direct sunlight when plugged in. Best regards GARDENA Service

@@GardenaWorldwide Thank you for a really quick reply. I will do that. A follow-up question. In the V3-boxex, two of my six irrigation valve units are leaking and are filling the boxes with water. They are both the middle connections between the valve and the water inlet connection. I've disassembled everything, moved things around and I still face the same issues. Any suggestions here, please?

@@GardenaWorldwide another one... does Gardena have enough resources to manage customer service support? I have requested irrigation layout assistance month ago and it seem to me it has been ignored? I had to contact UK Representative, on the other side of my universe to get a project feedback while Poland sits tight - due to the workload, I have been referred to another retailer, idea by Gardena. It seem you guys simply struggle dont with man power to execute projects? Kind a rough environment. I had to go to hunter for new project and if they wont come back I will go to Rain Bird? Rainbow? Mercy.
