Please add more videos. I'm about to start work in waste management as a H&S advisor and these videos are super !

Bins falling in is a regular occurrence... had it happen to me a few times on the round i did I was lucky enough to shut the hopper off before it could crush the bins and then pull them out

6:35 you can see how heavy the bin was beacuse when it hits the floor of the hopper, the whole back of the truck bounces

I've done that, the bin can sometimes dislodge when it bangs on the bar at the top, usually happens if the lip on the bin is damaged. We aren't allowed to get them out though, have to let them get crushed and send the customer a new bin.

They stopped us from doing that after an ex employee slipped, fell and crushed his testicles against the plate when climbing over the lifters to get one out.

When it happened on my rounds, we entered it on the PDA in the cab so a new bin could be sent out.

The vid is about 8 minutes long and my fingers were in the corner of the screen fo about 10-20 seconds. And if this is a bad video why has it got so many views

@@refusevehiclesuk6129 mate, I didn't say it was a bad video, for me personally, the fingers in the screen spoil it. How hard is it to keep the lense clear?! This is your channel, I think you should do a better job. All you have to do is hold your phone in the right way. I'm not a pro and don't have my own channel, but image capable of recording an 8 min video vithout the added fingers. Take this as constructive feedback, there's room for improvement :)
