yes , go look round the area see what's getting chucked out in skips i always find wood for rough projects fly tipped or in a skip , buying wood from B&Q is painful nowadays

Luckily I’m a bit of a hoarder for wood so have plenty to build with. It’s all on hold while I do a couple of garden projects
