Thank you for sharing another of your beautiful journals with us!! The lace IS gorgeous! I'll be taking a look at Jaizella's shop for sure. You commented about one of the fabric pieces as being very, very fine. Chances are it is what was called "lawn" and used for blouses and such. Lawn was very soft and delicate and nothing is being manufactured these days that I'm aware of, that comes anywhere near what the old fashioned lawn was like. I've had the pleasure of working with the "real thing" and it works best with the most delicate of hand stitching.☺🥰

I have that fabric as my bedroom curtains with a cream background. I bought it at a charity shop and made them myself about twenty years ago!

This is just beautiful, Carol! You absolutely did justice to the laces and then some. I love the way you used the laces on seams and as hinges. And the little bits stuffed into the paper pocket are adorable. I also love that very fine fabric - I saved a small piece for myself! The journal is beautiful - such a perfect mix of digitals and lacey details. Gorgeous 😍
