Looks like that safety bar you usually see on these trucks isn't all there, a fraction of a pole flicks up just after 1:22 haha These arms look so much more robotic than any other side loaders - reminds me of the terminator movies.

This is great! I saw a number of these types of commercial side loaders when I went to Madrid and Barcelona in 2005

Great vid Bill! Love this truck! This is my first time hearing a Spanish garbage truck, and I must say, I love this one! Nice growl to the engine when it takes off! What is the chassis of this truck? Iveco Stralis? What does LH stand for when you are talking about a Valencia LH ASL? Are these trucks powered by Cummins engines or a different kind of engine? All around, great vid!

This one is a Mercedes Axor 2528 and I believe it's powered by Mercedes Diesel. The LH is Left Hand ASL since the lifter is on the LH side. I have a RH ASL coming up in a bit that is bigger, older and is an Iveco.
