  • @RealEllenDeGeneres

    @RealEllenDeGeneres

    9 күн бұрын

    I personally hate this kind of training. It's usually janky, poorly acted, and you can't really check corners and use cover. The performances and production quality is important. A lot of the time they intentional make people look sus just to trip you up, it's not realistic. Like directly facing you and blatantly shoving their hand in their jacket to pull out a gun, only to find out it's a banana. It's dumb. And you just stand in the middle of a room rather than clearing an area like you'd do irl. Pie'ing corners, and using cover. Imagine if you just walked into the middle of a room and stood there to clear it out irl. You'd be dead in most high threat situations.

    No judge is gonna consider that abusive use of force, not if they're sensible. We aren't talking knives or bats we're looking at active shooter scenarios, he's checking corpses or "double tapping" it's not a murderous intent its insurance that as you're dealing with multiple targets one thought down and out doesn't get up and shoot you in the back. We're looking at this from the perspective of a sole armed civilian, they have a gun, multiple targets, let's say one mag too just to make it harder, you CANNOT risk one of them getting back up.

    It's a self defense scenario with multiple armed aggressors with firearms against a single armed individual. Such as, Safe back drop for each and every subject, is each subject a threat or potential or not, once I make a decision to engage my hearing will no longer be dependable (then what), count my shots so I can prepare for a preemptive reload, do I need my light or will it give away my position, shot move shot, proper form and technique, look for cover not just concealment... but this video learning process is just the first step to learning how to deal with input overload.

    If they incorporated the reload into this it would probably be the best training on the planet. He did a phenomenal job his situational awareness was on point, head on a swivel absorbing everything and keeping calm and shooting til the threat is completely eliminated!!!
