Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

On this episode of GarageGuruTV, we complete our quest for a flush fitment on our 2018 Ford Focus SEL project vehicle by installing a set of H&R Sport Lowering Springs to compliment the H&R Trak+ Wheel Spacers installed in the last episode.

I have a 2017 focus sel, what difference would there be as in performance, handling corners? As it’s lowered do aerodynamics play a good role with this or is it pretty much the same as the stock settings?

Do you have to get it aligned after installing this kit? I have a 2013 SE sedan with ST wheels. Thanks!

I did not have to align my vehicle after. It’s been driven over 50,000 miles since with no problems or adverse wear patterns on the tires

Please tell me how you got the strut end link off? There is no place to put a 17mm wrench, it's literally round and using an Allen and an open ended doesn't work do to there being two metal walls up on either side

I performed this install once on a focus that had been serviced at the dealership and they had rounded off both the nut and the recess for the Allen key. I would personally have a dealership deal with it, or simply cut it out! Sorry to hear you are having an issue. Let me know if you have any more questions...

@@garagegurutv6419 no big deal. Definitely not spending $500 on it. It's an easy job it's just that small hiccup. I ended up getting it with some channel locks.

@@garagegurutv6419 I did the job. It sucked but its done. I used those locking pliers to get that off. You'll need it for the rotating piece in the middle of the strut too underneath the dust boot.

Do you have to get an Alignment after installation?

Tre Filmz since the drop isn’t extreme, our alignment shop said it was not necessary. It has been driven for thousands of miles since the install without an alignment and we have had no adverse effects!

Henry Tovar this is a custom part we made out of .090 aluminum along with the side skirts. Companies such as Vega Modified and Rebel Devil Customs offer bolt on Front Splitters for the Focus!
